The Defensive Pistol Program (DPP) is a comprehensive, multi-level training curriculum designed to equip students with the necessary skills to effectively and responsibly defend themselves. With its unique focus on skill development, objective- and performance- based training and adaptability to individual skill levels, DPP differentiates itself amidst a competitive landscape of individual trainers, local shooting ranges and national organizations’ current training offerings.
The free introductory session is a classroom presentation introducing the DPP program and details of what the 5-week live fire program entails. The live fire program covers 5 weekly modules, each module is approximately 3 hours in length
- Range Module 1: Fundamentals of Defensive Marksmanship
- Range Module 2: Presentation from Concealment
- Range Module 3: The Balance of Speed & Precision
- Range Module 4: Defensive Response
- Range Module 5: Malfunctions & Single-Handed Shooting
Require Equipment for the live fire modules:
- Semi-Automatic Pistol
- Concealed Carry Holster (Appendix, Inside, or Outside Waistband), Preferably
Kydex - Sturdy Belt
- Concealment Garment (this is a concealed carry class)
- 3 magazines
- Eye and Ear Protection
- Notebook and Pen
- Closed-Toed Shoes
- Brimmed Hat
- 1000 rounds of ammo for the 5 weeks
